Found this little beauty, also at St Vinnie's! It was in the homewares section, presumably because the employee who put it there thought it was a ktichen scale. And rightfully so, this design really hints at that. However, upon further examination, I realized that it is in fact a CD Player. One with two headphone jacks, speakers, and charging via Micro USB! This now currently lives at my desk at work, as a good stationary CD player. Saves me a lot of recharging my AA batteries.
I scored this little cutie some time ago at St Vinnie's for $3! I was pretty convinced it wasn't going to work, so I was in no hurry to try. Luckily, I found a site that isn't Amazon to purchase labels from: PTouchDirect. While the name may be a tad unfortunate, the site itself was super easy and worked well for me on Haiku's Web Positive browser. And they have a TON of labels for these old label printers! I do a lot of labing cables and things at work, so having that luxury at home is a welcome one.
